Summary of Northern Ireland Citizen Scientist Pine Marten & Squirrel Survey
In 2014 and 2015, Dr. David Tosh of Quercus at Queen’s University Belfast secured funding to work with Red Squirrel Groups and organisations across Northern Ireland to undertake a citizen science approach to surveying three target species, the pine marten, red squirrel and grey squirrel. Following is a summary of the work.
